In the event your health insurance provider refuses to pay for your emergency care, we recommend filing a grievance with the Texas Department of Insurance. Per Texas state law, insurance providers are required to reimburse patients for emergency care.

What if my health condition requires an overnight hospital stay?

In the event your health condition requires an overnight hospital stay, Express ER would be happy to arrange a transfer to the most appropriate local hospital that can provide the emergency care you need.
